Our Eco Cleaning Sponge is 100% biodegradable and compostable. It is made from the loofah plant, a fast-growing, rapidly-reproducing member of the cucumber family.

After the loofah plant blooms, the flower develops into a long gourd that is left to dry before being cut and moulded into a sponge.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Care Rinse clean and squeeze dry after each use. Place on clean, dry surface and allow to drain. Because this product is made from 100% natural plant fiber, if left damp, this will promote the growth of bacteria and mould. We recommend replacing it every month.

 

Disposal Old used sponges can be safely discarded either by placing in your compost bin or burying it in the ground.
